1.5 ton mini-split. 208/230V Mini Split Air Conditioner for rooms up to 800 sq ft. Mini split systems have two main components: an outdoor compressor/condenser, and an indoor air-handling unit.
Ductless, mini split-system air-conditioners have numerous potential applications. The most common applications are in multifamily housing or as add-ons to houses with "non-ducted" heating systems, such as hydronic, radiant panels, and space heaters. They can also be a good choice for room additions and small apartments, where extending or installing distribution ductwork (for a central air-conditioner) is not feasible. The main advantages of mini splits are their small size and flexibility for zoning or heating and cooling individual rooms. Ductless mini split systems are also often easier to install than other types of space conditioning systems.
